Fluorine in the reef aquarium is essential for corals and other organisms.
The element fluorine is often underestimated in marine aquaristics. This is probably due, among other things, to the still incompletely understood role that this element plays for many living organisms. It can be detected in coral skeletons, strengthening them. In addition, there are many molecules that contain fluorine. These can bind heavy metals, such as copper, and thus protect living things from heavy metal poisoning.
Dosing tip: The optimum concentration is 1.2 - 1.4 mg/l seawater.
10 ml increases the fluorine content of 100 liters of pool volume by 0.3 mg/l.
